An vier Nächten im Januar werden Teile der Neuen Nationalgalerie zur interaktiven Konzertinstallation und Bühne für die Lyrikerin, Aktivistin und Musikerin Moor Mother. Ihre Praxis, mit Einflüssen aus experimentellem Hip-Hop, Free Jazz und historischer Archivarbeit, trifft dabei mit dem ensemble mosaik auf einen der zentralen zeitgenössischen Klangkörper Berlins. Unterstützt wird der Austausch von einer Reihe Solo-Instrumentalist:innen, Theoretiker:innen und Mitgliedern des Publikums. Gemeinsam beginnen musikalische und philosophische Zeitreisen und die Erforschung alternativer Zeitkonzepte.
Der gedankliche Dialog mit der zeitgleich ausgestellten Videoinstallation The Clock des Schweizer Künstlers Christian Marclay ist dabei willkommen, aber nicht zwingend.
Die vier aufeinanderfolgenden Abende bieten jeweils einzigartige Kombinationen aus komponierter und improvisierter Musik, Vorträgen, Performances, Workshops und interaktiven Elementen. Jeder Abend ist anders. Wiederholter Besuch lohnt sich.
